…… that when someone in your family dies, your people either ignore your straight because they don’t know what to say (or are too scared they’d start a flood of tears perhaps?)… or if they do express condolences they say “if you need anything just shout”… and then that’s the last you hear of them too!

I can top up the oil myself – experience gained courtesy of 1st car… but i’m not really sure where to look for the sump plug. I’m usually the designated container-fetcher… for the old oil to drain into.

Married to him. Before him — that wasn’t love, not even close.

in terms of who my great grandad on fathers side? no. But i know far back into history Rob Roy McGregor is in there.. and Sir Edward Jenner.

Can’t remember. Work usually has silly dress up days. Most times i play along, except the most recent one i had an interview (higher position) scheduled for the ‘hobo day’, so i kind of decided against that one.

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Didn’t make any resolutions, don’t need the pressure of disappointment if I were to fail with anything

Nope

Father in law

5. What countries did you visit?

Lesotho. It was awesome. :D:D:D:D It was for a work sponsored holiday for my hubby, and although he no longer works for that company we intend to make it a fairly regular occurrence.

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?

Job satisfaction!

7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory?

None. Nothing traumatic happened, but nothing great happened either.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I guess you could say that it was acing all the assessments at the current job? There’s something i’m even more excited about but it’s still in the fluffy-cloud-might-not-happen-stage

9. What was your biggest failure?

That i didnt get the little business off the ground that i wanted to do at the beginning of the year before i ran out of capital On the bright side (refer to question something almost exactly like what I was going to do might happen.

Not really, but my body did start asserting itself more – telling me i have to listen to it..

11. What was the best thing you bought?

My laptop. Scruff little 2nd hand thing i bought for 2k on bidorbuy, but it’s ALL MINE, it doesnt have to be returned to a company when i leave their employment.

I got better at parenting. My kid realised that in fact i was the parent and she has to listen.

Same person as last year. And there is a long complicated reason why i can’t cut them out of my life. AND no it’s not my hubby.

Depends on how you’re looking at it. Debt repayment (vomit)… or our cars.. cos the damn things need tyres after a while..
