2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Didn’t make any resolutions, don’t need the pressure of disappointment if I were to fail with anything

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Nope

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Father in law

5. What countries did you visit?

Lesotho. It was awesome. :D:D:D:D It was for a work sponsored holiday for my hubby, and although he no longer works for that company we intend to make it a fairly regular occurrence.

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?

Job satisfaction!

7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory?

None. Nothing traumatic happened, but nothing great happened either.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I guess you could say that it was acing all the assessments at the current job? There’s something i’m even more excited about but it’s still in the fluffy-cloud-might-not-happen-stage

9. What was your biggest failure?

That i didnt get the little business off the ground that i wanted to do at the beginning of the year before i ran out of capital On the bright side (refer to question 8) something almost exactly like what I was going to do might happen.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Not really, but my body did start asserting itself more – telling me i have to listen to it..

11. What was the best thing you bought?

My laptop. Scruff little 2nd hand thing i bought for 2k on bidorbuy, but it’s ALL MINE, it doesnt have to be returned to a company when i leave their employment.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?

I got better at parenting. My kid realised that in fact i was the parent and she has to listen.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?

Same person as last year. And there is a long complicated reason why i can’t cut them out of my life. AND no it’s not my hubby.

14. Where did most of your money go?

Depends on how you’re looking at it. Debt repayment (vomit)… or our cars.. cos the damn things need tyres after a while..

• Happier or sadder? Happier
• Thinner or fatter? I don’t know – didnt replace the batteries in my electronic scale – and i’m happier this way?

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?

Bake, garden, spend time with my kid, spend time with my darling friends

Ooooh… vegging at home when i have friends and family who need to be visited

Oops. Looks like i jacked the meme a bit late.. Hubby cooked an epic meal – we pigged out.. I’d rather have spent the day alone with him but we have some visitor issues.. o_O

21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?

Again… depends on the perception. Personally : hubby. But i have a client services job. So i spend 7 hours a day on the phone. Meh.

22. Did you fall in love in 2011?

Fall in love with my hubby every day!

Only with my hubby

Lie to me

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

Nope, hate the same people that fucked us over last year the exact same amount

Taxing job, kid, hubby.. not much time to read. Just read average novels..

Hmmmmm… nope, still loving kings of leon..

A camera, a blackberry, a proper job, a laptop.

Watched TAKEN more times than is healthy..

I turned 30, did nothing as we still felt broke (and 30 is not really something you wanna celebrate), and then hubby surprised me with a 2nd hand but works like a bomb dishwasher Emigration sales FTW

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

A more enjoyable job?

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?

Worked for a builder and then in a call centre. “All about jeans”?

Facebook.. it’s my way of winding down in the evenings..

Johnny Depp. I don’t know how he does it.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

I don’t pay attention to that crap. All smoke, mirrors and bullshit..

My best friends..

Reesha. Such an awesome person

A little chilling the fuck out goes a loooong way. Forgiveness was also pretty cool..
